Swollen Cuticles Solution

last lesson

After a very long way, I get to write something on this blog.
During this period I taught, trained and properly written verification of educational materials, which I quote in various projects of wikibooks. Anyone wishing to get an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat to tell my students can look at the modules for the succession to the inequalities in the text or under construction in wikibooks: "Mathematics for high school" (http://it.wikibooks.org/wiki/Matematica_per_le_superiori)

Since I teach high school, every year, towards the end, the boys do a particular task: to assess their math teacher. It is a questionnaire with a score of closed questions and three open-response (from the link on the side you can download the text).

During the last hours of the year illustrate the boys the summary of responses from their class, I ask their explanations on the points that I have read with clear and open responses. In short, with a concession to my narcissism I dedicate the last class to talk about me, the methods used by students and receive criticism, advice and guidance.

The results I get, read tab card gives an indication of how is my relationship with the class, read item to item show my strengths and my weaknesses.

The results of this year were a bit 'contrasting with two classes there was a good agreement in a while assessments of pupils have been pretty mediocre. Luck however, is that kids are very good and "Wide Channel" in their assessments.

The three items in which I get a better evaluation are:
  • loves his subject.
  • Meets pupils.
  • Fa preferences among students.

While my weaknesses are:
  • During his hour class is governed.
  • makes an interesting subject.
  • understands what they mean pupils.

The funniest part of response open, are a few:

What do you like least:
  • When he gets angry with the class
  • His way of explaining.
  • not have much "wrist".
  • His sweaters.
  • The slowness in the lessons.
  • sometimes explains a topic and then let him aside and recover it later.
  • The way in which he explains geometry.
  • Fa bored.
  • overly complicate things even if they are simple, you're never sure you understand them completely.
  • Too many exercises in class assignments. The
  • too schematic to give their votes.
  • The short time allowed in the tests.
  • During the hours of computer help and more that the other brave companions

What do you like more:
  • Its peacefulness and tranquility.
  • is always available to help.
  • His way "weird" to address the problems.
  • is skilled in the art.
  • hair in the photo on the blog.
  • The fact that the invent absurd stories to explain certain topics.
  • The way that makes it interesting and enjoyable classes making jokes and even listening to the problems of the class.
  • 's greeting beginning lesson.
  • know how to be careful students without boring them.
  • If you do not understand the re-explain something as many times as you need to be understood.
  • Many class exercises and peaceful atmosphere.
  • couplings shirt vest.
  • flexibility.
  • The respect shown to pupils.

What advice would you give it his best way of teaching?
  • Keep the class with more rigor.
  • should spend more time on theory and less to the exercises.
  • lessons more schematic and less dispersed.
  • Sometimes the lesson could be organized better.
  • few extra credit if you bring something to eat.
  • be robust and more convinced of what he says.
  • Use a scale of 60 to 10 votes.
  • Trying to explain why certain subjects are taught.
  • Increase speed in the explanations.
  • Dwelling more on a topic at the request of students.
  • do more exercise in class.
  • Begin the first round of questions.

Didamatica 2009 Second

Someone complained because after the first and second lesson, I have not written anything ...

School, and a few other commitments, I absorb a lot.

Didamatica 2009 I attended that was held in Trento in recent days. For this conference I produced some materials I put at the disposal of those interested. Of course the presentation is very understandable for those not heard ruminations that accompanied its projection, but if someone wants to have fun interpreting it ...

Those interested can download this material from the link located next to.
