This year, the chair that was entrusted to me, does not provide computer training in any class: great pain! To alleviate the consequent displeasure, I proposed a course of language such as Python optional afternoon activities.
The school already teaches in PNI and Technology courses, the language Pascal. The course aims to Python as an extension of training for those who want to learn a modern programming language.
about fifteen students and colleagues have shown interest and have started to attend the course.
The goal would be more ambitious than just an extracurricular activity that the school: I'd like to create a "Python User Group", a tool to allow communication between the fans of programming languages \u200b\u200b(especially Python).
To support the activity, I created a group:

with mailing lists and a space for materials. In this space just some of the participants to the course has introduced the notes taken during the first encounters in the laboratory.
I took advantage of the availability of participants for testing the development version of a part of the library pygraph (I will speak of this in another post ...). It is the parties relating to the functions, problem solving, the parameters and the recursion I have dealt with the help of Turtle graphics.
Participation in the meetings is always very caring and sympathetic. The hour and a half and flies often taken to be questions and issues, backgrounds to its schedule.
Unrest school and snow have a bit 'caught on frequency in recent meetings ... I hope that by January, to resume at full speed.
But I hope in particular that a little 'time to the level of expertise becomes such that you can do without the "prophetic" and that "progress" will turn into a group of passionate users.
